Answers to Your Most Common Questions

How long does the average exterior painting project take?

It depends on the size and complexity, but a one story house can take around 4-5 days of actual prep-work and painting plus half a day for powerwashing the house.

What type of paint do you use?

We work with the best brands on the market (e.g. Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore), our go to lines are Superpaint Exterior (for hardiboard siding), Loxon XP Elastomeric coating (for stucco and brick) and Messmer's UV Plus (for wood staining) but the best way to know what product will work best in your case is better to schedule a free estimate so we can take a look.

How Long Will a Paint Job Last?

This will depend in a lot of variables like the weather, current condition of the surfaces and the colors being chosen, it is recommended to paint every 5-7 years but with some darker colors like navy and black you can start seeing the color fade in as quickly as 3-4 years.

When is it the right time to paint?

The best time to paint your exterior is late spring and early fall, but most of the exterior projects get done during the summer, While it's also not recommended, you could paint during the winter but the exterior of the house will need to be tented and heated, which will incur extra costs.
